Soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez announced on social media On Monday 18th April 2022 that their newborn baby boy had died.
The statement, shared by both Ronaldo and Rodriguez, said, ‘It is with our deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our baby boy. It’s the greatest pain any parent can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you.’
Since the announcement the family has been receiving messages of comfort from friends, family and fans.

In one of his celebrations, he made touching tribute to his pregnant girlfriend by shoving the ball under his Jersey.
Manchester United has announced that the Portuguese will be absent from Tuesday’s match against Liverpool at Anfield.
