Serena Williams and Sir Lewis Hamilton join Sir Martin Broughton’s bid to buy Chelsea

The Blues are operating under a special licence from the UK government after Russian Oligarch owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned and he decided to sell Chelsea, A lot of People have been bidding to buy Chelsea among them are Sir Martin Broughton  who is a British Businessman and the deputy chairman of International Airlines Group

Serena Williams and Sir Lewis Hamilton are joining a team of two which is comprised of Sir Martin Broughton and Chelsea fan and former Olympian Lord Sebastian Coe who truly believes in Sir Martin Broughton.

Both Serena and Sir Lewis have a reputation of building successful business careers

Through Serena Ventures, her venture capital fund, Williams recently announced an investment in a British sports technology startup firm called Open Sponsorship, which describes itself as an “influencer marketing agency platform”. Williams, 40, has won 23 Grand Slam titles during her tennis career and was ranked WTA No1 for 319 weeks in total

Hamilton, 37, is a seven-time Formula One world champion and is currently preparing for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix this weekend, where he will race with his team Mercedes.

Sky News has reported that Lewis Hamilton and Serena Williams, have pledged an estimated £10 million each into an offer for the club.
